Movie Review of 42
Maelle and I went to see 42 on April 14th, 2013, at Montgomery Mall. The stars who play the characters in this movie are Chadwick Boseman (Jackie Robinson), Harrison Ford (Branch Rickey), and Nicole Beharie (Rachel Robinson). The movie is about Jackie Robinson who was a baseball player who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. The movie takes place in Brooklyn, New York, in 1947.

At the beginning of the movie, Jackie Robinson becomes the first African-American major league player. In the middle of the movie, Jackie Robinson faces a lot of racism from players and fans. At the end of the movie, Jackie Robinson became a successful baseball player. The Washington Post movie review gives 42 a score of 3 stars out of 4. I thought the movie was really good.
